Always
Tonight we had to put my cat to sleep. She was special. She was twenty. She was a myracle cat, somehow she was always still kickin'. I took her for granted. I wish there was a different way to say goodbye but I love you. always.
We Can Change the World, for Those Who Cannot
I Didn't really make a set about Newtown, because I think everyone has to pour over their own thoughts about feelings about it. I want anyone out there reading this to know that I am one more person supporting the Newtown families, friends, first responders, and community. I doubt knowing this will help, but I think that some people (myself included) just post statuses of support to make it seem like the problem is off of their hands and hearts. I want you to know that we do care, and understand this problem does not go away with the flick of a wand, and the world will stand by you while you find your way.

May you all find peace in your mind, love in your hearts, and the strength in your soul to continue living and changing the world for those who cannot.
much love,
me

Me and My Buggy
I really really really like the way this set came out. i realized that lately I've been trying to be artsy with my sets and put out these graphic designs to be different, and even though I really do like them, they are not me. This set blends and flows and the colors meld into each other. This is kinda how I see the world, and wished others did too; all mixed up together

ps.. i kinda like buggys

Those Picture Frames

Those Picture Frames
I made this set in frames to represent the captured pure beautiful moments that we just let slip by. I'm thankful for so much this year, but especially thankful for those little frames or seconds of pure joy, because in that moment I know it is all worth it. I'm so thankful, because I know that not everyone has that.

I'm Dreaming a Little Bigger

I'm Dreaming a Little Bigger
I think that I joined Polyvore like 3 years ago, and a lot has changed since then. I've developed new friendships, ended others, and found out more of who I am. In those three years I've learned so much, and traveled all over the world, including Africa which was so inspiring, because even in the villages, the people are happy. I've learned about my dreams, and that it's okay to want to be a fashion or an interior designer, because look at what people on Polyvore have done. This site has given me the opportunity to learn from others experiences, about fashion, writing and life too, and also to express myself, and to recieve support. I thank you for that. All my love,

ps sorry for being so deep:)

Life with Passion

Life with Passion
For all the humans that care: I haven't been on Polyvore in like 3 months because this summer I went to Africa with an organization that sends supplies to rural schools and villages all throughout Zimbabwe! I actually traveled to some schools and was welcomed with open arms and minds. The Zimbabwean people I met were some of the most gracious people I know. This trip was the most inspiring place I have ever been, because the people there live with so much less, and are still happy. The kids in the villages find joy in dancing and singing and reading just like I do. I realized also from this trip is that when I grow up I really want to travel.everywhere. I just want to learn how people live, and the food they eat and the traditions they have. I can't seem to understand why some people don't like to travel. I guess that it is the fear of the unknown. But Polyvoreians, let me tell you something that I have learned, Zimbabwe wasn't scary, it was new and different, but not scary. If you are someone who doesn't like to travel, than just think about this. If you take the risk of the unknown, and go visit or live someplace you've never been before, you may just find yourself making friendship bracelets in the middle of Africa, or making a kid with no shoes laugh out loud, and it may just be one of the best moments of your life.
